On March 7, 2019 Bard College Berlin invites you to a conversation with illustrator and graphic novelist Zeina Abirached, held at Cabinet Magazine Berlin.
Zeina Abirached is an illustrator, graphic novelist, and comics artist. She studied at the Académie Libanaise des Beaux-Arts (ALBA) and the École nationale supérieure des arts décoratifs. Her publications include Le piano oriental (2015), Agatha de Beyrouth (2011), Je me souviens. Beyrouth (2009), Mourir, partir, revenir. Le jeu des hirondelles (2007), 38, rue Youssef Semaani (2006), Beyrouth Catharsis (2006), and Prendre refuge co-written with Mathias Enard (2018). She was recently awarded the ‘chevalier’ medal of distinction of the “Ordre des Arts et des Lettres”.
