Financial Aid

Bard College Berlin attempts to award financial aid to meet each student’s need, based on the ability of funds. Although the College is committed to supporting as many students as possible, funds for assistance are limited. Applicants should be aware that not every student will receive assistance equal to the demonstrated need.

Financial Aid is awarded on an annual basis and applicants need to reapply each year. Students who enter Bard College Berlin with a financial aid award can expect that the same level of aid will be renewed in the subsequent years, provided that the student reapplies for aid each year and continues to demonstrate a similar level of financial need.

Bard College Berlin does not distinguish between domestic and international students. All BA and Academy Year students who demonstrate financial need are eligible to apply for financial aid, regardless of nationality. Please note that Bard College Berlin is only able to award financial aid for tuition, not for the on-campus fee or for other living costs.
