Bard College Berlin is a residential liberal arts college in Germany's capital city, offering BA degrees and one-year (gap year) programs in the Humanities and Social Sciences (including majors in fields like Economics, Politics, Art and Aesthetics, Literature and Rhetoric, and Ethics and Politics). Courses take place in small seminars that challenge students to grow as readers, writers, thinkers, and doers.

Academic excellence is a requirement for all scholarships, in addition to the criteria listed for the individual scholarships. All BA and Academy Year applicants who meet the criteria for the scholarships below are eligible to apply. Please follow the links below to view the criteria for each scholarship and details on how to apply.

Which scholarships am I eligible for?

First-Year and Transfer BA Applicants (except for students who have already completed an undergraduate degree)
Academy Year Applicants
Project Year Applicants We do not offer scholarships for Project Year applicants at this time.

An offer of scholarship/financial aid, unless otherwise stated, is made on the assumption that the applicant will be a full-time student and will incur full-time tuition, room and board charges at Bard College Berlin. If these assumptions are wrong, the applicant should expect a revision of the scholarship/financial aid offer.
