Katy Derbyshire comes from London and has lived in Berlin for almost 30 years. She earns her living translating contemporary German literature into English, and also heads the small publishing imprint V&Q Books. Katy is co-founder and co-host of the Dead Ladies Show. She has taught literary translation in New York, New Delhi and Norwich, among other places.
