BCB PRIDE Week

Friday, April 24, 2026 – Thursday, April 30, 2026
Various Locations on BCB Campus
It's our first BCB PRIDE Week!
April 24 - April 30

...Ok yes, we have celebrated PRIDE at BCB many times, but we've only done so in the summer during Berlin PRIDE Month. This year we want to celebrate during the semester with more of our community. Everyone is invited.

While PRIDE Month in Berlin is both a celebration and a protest, it traces back to the 1969 Stonewall uprising in New York, when queer communities resisted police oppression and sparked a global movement for LGBTQ+ rights. Berlin brings its own history: once a queer cultural hub in the 1920s, later marked by Nazi persecution of LGBTQ+ people, and now home to Christopher Street Day (CSD), one of Europe’s largest PRIDE marches.

Today, PRIDE in Berlin is about visibility, remembrance, and continuing the push for equality, and that is how we also want to celebrate it at BCB. We'll aim to honor the past while shaping a more inclusive future, and you're invited to take part.

Join us for any of our week of events, and reach out to the organizers if you'd like to help!
