Exhibition Opening: Beyond the Public Eye: Queer Aesthetics in East and West Berlin – Jürgen Wittdorf & Lothar Lambert

We warmly invite you to the opening of the exhibition Beyond the Public Eye: Queer Aesthetics in East and West Berlin – Jürgen Wittdorf & Lothar Lambert on April 30, 2026, from 5–9 PM at the Fire Station, Monopol-Berlin as part of Bard College Berlin's Open Studios.

In dialogue with sculptural works and curatorial contributions by: Max Finegan, Fiona Galinsky, Dorian Ghannam, Ketevan Lomidze, Will Learnard, Daksha Lyons, Keren Aganyi, Marino Mondria Perez, Theresa Seiffert, Yelyzaveta Shelest, Marlowe Stuart, Gwendolyn Woerishofer, Alejandra Rodríguez González, Anna Malkenes, Antunga Antunga, Ava Barnett, Elena Crosby Feindel, Hannah Caron, Jay Nidzelska, Keren Aganyi, Myla Allen, Olive Bodnar, Sadie Chorao, Tillie Martignon, Yuliia Yevtukhova.

The exhibition runs from April 30 – May 3, 2026, and marks the final joint exhibition project of the courses Spaces of Appearance: Exhibitions as Counter-Public Spheres, led by Elisa R. Linn and Exploring the Expanded Field of Sculpture, led by Raphaela Vogel.
