Dr. Andreas Martin Widmann interviewed by German public radio station HR2 to discuss his latest novel Eddi

Dr. Andreas Martin Widmann was recently interviewed by German public radio station HR2 to discuss his latest novel Eddi, stating, "My hope would be to be able to describe Eddi as an all-ages novel."

He talked to critic Alf Haubitz about how he created the book's 15-year-old female protagonist, and how conversations with Bard College Berlin students shaped his sense of how young people experience the world. Widmann also explains why he doesn't necessarily see the titular character Eddi as far removed from his own experience.
