Unermüdlich- The Antelope and the Waiting Body is a memoir-based film essay that reflects on an illness journey of a young woman who has developed a rare neurological illness after a life-threatening brain stroke. Juxtaposing the hard bureaucratic reality of the modern healthcare system with her tireless journey for freedom of mobility, the film ponders on the question of a body that is both under the medical gaze, and one that views the world through eyes of persistence, hope and resilience.
The film screening Unermüdlich- The Antelope and the Waiting Body marks the opening of the Creative Component Exhibition of Spring 2026 graduating cohort. After the screening, there will be a short roundtable discussion, led and moderated by Clio Nicastro and Sanskriti Shrestha.
