Bard College Berlin is strengthening its deep commitment to academic freedom and the protection of intellectual and artistic expression by launching a comprehensive initiative to support threatened scholars and artists in Berlin. Funded by a generous $100,000 grant from
Bard College and implemented by Bard College Berlin, the Germany segment of the 'Piloting Leadership Supports for Threatened Scholars and Practitioners' project provides personalized professional coaching, seminars on career advancement, and training workshops designed to promote career planning and professional positioning within the local labor market, helping participants to find sustained employment in Germany. This multi-pronged project will be carried out in collaboration with higher education institutions in the SAR Berlin-Brandenburg network and professional partners.
