Prof. Dr. Gale Raj publishes article about Germany's post-COVID semiconductor industry in the Journal of Economic Geography

Prof. Dr. Gale Raj has recently published an article with Dr. Tobias Wuttke titled "State subsidies, supply chain resilience, and geopolitics influencing firm strategies in a post-2020 context: case study of the German semiconductor industry" in the Journal of Economic Geography.

Based on primary research, this publication provides analysis of interconnected risks and dynamics of global supply chain disruptions from Covid-19, geopolitics, and increasing demand for automotive microchips and state subsidies in shaping the German semiconductor industry investments as part of global production networks.

This publication is the result of Raj's research project, funded by the German Research Fund (DFG), on the changing dynamics of the semiconductor industry global production network.
