Professor Gale Raj is showing objects of research in the exhibition 'Better Promises, I Promise' at Vorfluter Project Space in Berlin-Neukölln. The group exhibition opened on November 15 and is displayed through December 13.

Intertwining storytelling, meanings of truth, and the elusive promises of progress, 'Better Promises to Come, I Promise' is a material survey on movement, technology, and post-human ambition shaping our understanding of the world. As part of a group show staging tensions between comfort and control through hyper-regulated environments engaging with aesthetics and logics of control systems, Raj presents fragments of research on the electronics industry Malaysia in 2008—documents, data, and partial testimonies— connected to how narratives of progress are sustained by selective visibility. Within these archives, what is “evidence” becomes an act of storytelling, a choreography of revelation, and concealment.
