Breaking the Silence, Period!: Using Humor and Images to Challenge Menstrual Stigma

As part of the second phase of the "Period" Project" a collaborative initiative by EJAAD Berlin and the Bard Feminist Collective, we have invited Dr. Mirjam Werner from the Rotterdam School of Management to share her research on how multimodality, i.e. the use of images and humor, has contributed to challenging menstrual stigma and taboo. In this online event, Dr. Werner will be giving a presentation followed by a Q&A session and discussion. Whether you experience menstruation or not, please join and help us deconstruct harmful notions regarding menstruation.
