This event will explore the prospects for national reconciliation and sustainable peace in war-torn Syria. Dr. Usahma Felix Darrah studied Political Science, International Iaw and Islamic Studies in Damascus and Heidelberg before working as a lecturer and speech writer for 10 years. He’s been the managing director of “Freunde des syrischen Volks e.V.” and a political consultant in Berlin since 2014.
“Freunde des Syrischen Volks e.V.” is a non-profit organization founded in Berlin in 2014. We engage in projects that empower Syrian communities and give them agency in the field of legal development and push towards accountability for core crimes committed during the Syrian conflict.
