Liberal democracy, right-wing populism and academia in East Central Europe

An informal discussion with interested BCB students and faculty on the current political dynamics and the place of academia in East Central Europe  in the immediate aftermath of the Hungarian parliamentary elections.

Balázs Trencsényi is Professor of History and Director of the Institute for Advanced Study at the Central European University. He is also the founding convener of the CEU Invisible University for Ukraine.

Ewa Atanassow is Professor of Politics at BCB.
