Shila Khatami: Artist talk

On Thursday, October 18, the Berlin Internship Seminar led by Agata Lisiak and Florian Duijsens will welcome Berlin-based painter Shila Khatami for an artist talk.
Born in Saarbrücken, Germany, Shila Khatami studied Fine Arts at the Academy of Fine Arts, Munich and at the Arts Academy Düsseldorf. Her works have been shown in group exhibitions in Australia, Austria, France, Germany, Switzerland, and the USA; as well as in solo shows, most recently at the Clages Gallery in Cologne (2016) and at the Palette Terre in Paris (2018). Khatami is the recipient of several residencies, among which the Residency of the Federal Republic of Germany for Cité Internationale des Arts, Paris, and the Residency of CCA Andratx, Spain. Her works are included in the public collections of the Fonds municipal d'art contemporain, Paris and of the Kunstmuseum St. Gallen.
