Prof. Dr. Kai Koddenbrock participated in a workshop at the Villa Vigoni – German-Italian Centre for European Dialogue in Lake Como, Italy on "Europe and the Geoeconomic Challenge". Organized by Kate McNamarra (Georgetown University), Manuela Moschella (University of Bologna), Ankel Hassel (Hertie School), Timur Ergen (MPiFG Cologne), and Donato die Carlo (LSE), the workshop brought together 25 scholars from across the world to develop ideas on how Europe can and should deal with the changes in our geoeconomc and geopolitical order. Koddenbrock's input focused on "Theorizing geoeconomics and socialist (?) delinking."
