Stephanie Hausotter, Head of Admissions at Bard College Berlin, interviewed by the National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC)

In advance of the NACAC Conference she will attend later this month, Bard College Berlin’s Head of Admissions Stephanie Hausotter was interviewed by NACAC about her work in admissions at BCB for their Member Spotlight feature.

Hausotter explains how she was drawn to the world of college admission counseling: “As the daughter of two public school teachers, the field of education was a place I always imagined I would find myself. As I grew more interested in access to education during my Fulbright year in Germany and in graduate school, the opportunity to work in admissions for a transatlantic institution like BCB was the perfect fit for me.”

When asked her favorite part of the job, she says, “Watching students go from prospective students to enrollment to graduation.” 

Hausotter will be representing Bard College Berlin at the annual NACAC Conference in Los Angeles, California from September 26-28.
