Dr. Elisabetta Ilaria Limone has been teaching German as a Foreign and Second Language for over 12 years. She earned her doctoral degree in Literary, Linguistic and Comparative Studies with a thesis topic on archaeological poetry by Durs Grünbein at the University of Naples L’Orientale, where she is also currently co-editing a conference book. Furthermore, she holds a Master of Arts in German as a Foreign Language from Humboldt University in Berlin, a Master of Arts in Comparative Literature and Culture and a Bachelor of Arts in Translation Studies both from the University of Naples L’Orientale. She also earned a qualification in teaching German in Vocational Language Courses (Berufssprachkurse) and a certificate in teaching Italian as a Foreign Language (DITALS 2).
Her research interests focus on second language acquisition, plurilingualism, exile, migrant and postcolonial literature, and creative writing.
