Krystian Woznicki
Krystian Woznicki is a critic, curator, photographer, and lecturer. Exploring politics at the intersection of globalization and digitalization, he has created books that blend image and text: “Undeclared Movements” (2020), “Fugitive Belonging” (2018), and, with Brian Massumi, “After the Planes” (2017). He published several books together with Prof. Dr. Magdalena Taube, including “Kin City. Urban Ecologies, Infrastructures of Life, and Internationalist Struggles” (2024), “Invisible Hand(s). Hidden Labor in AI- Capitalism and the COVID-19 Pandemic” (2020), and “A Field Guide to the Snowden Files. Media, Art, Archives” (2017). Other publications include “Wer hat Angst vor Gemeinschaft? Ein Dialog mit Jean-Luc Nancy” (2009) and his first book “Abschalten. Paradiesproduktion, Massentourismus und Globalisierung” (2008).Woznicki is the co-publisher of the online journal BG | berlinergazette.de.
He has held lectures and seminars at universities and cultural institutions such as Documenta X, Mediamatik, Goethe Institut Belgrade, Humboldt University Berlin, Schauspiel Stuttgart, Universidad Complutense de Madrid, Kunst Werke, Städelschule, Schirn Kunsthalle, Frankfurter Kunstverein, Media Lab Prado, Gorki Theater, Uni Leipzig, Medienturm, Public Netbase, Hokkaido University, Volksbühne Berlin, transmediale, Züricher Hochschule der Künste, KW Institute for Contemporary Art, Al-Quds University/Open Society University Network, Haus der Kulturen der Welt (House of World Cultures), and Sapporo City University.
