Reinhard Schumacher holds a PhD in economics, and a diploma degree in administrative science. He has taught at Universität Potsdam, Université Lumière Lyon 2, Universität Siegen, and GIBT Colleg e.V. Berlin, and has been a Research Fellow at the Center for the History of Political Economy at Duke University. His research interests include the history of economic thought, international political economy, trade theory and policy, and development economics. He is the co-founder and co-host of the academic podcast Ceteris Never Paribus: The History of Economic Thought Podcast.PhD in Economics
