Romain Tiquet is a CNRS researcher at the Institut des Mondes Africains (Paris), following three years at the Centre Marc Bloch (Berlin). His previous work has focused on forced labor and prisons in Senegal, and he is now pursuing research on the history of madness in West Africa. He is the Principal Investigator of the ERC project Governing Madness in West Africa (MadAf, 2021–2026).PhD in African Studies
