Art facilities at Bard College Berlin

Take a closer look at the arts spaces on campus: from the ceramics studio in the Factory to the glassblowing and marble sculpture workshops at our new Monopol location, BCB offers a range of opportunities for artists to hone their craft.

Many of our students come to us with a strong interest in art but also a desire to engage in meaningful and transformative ways with the pressing issues of our time. What is the role of art in 21st-century societies? How is art political? How can art contribute to the production of embodied, experimental and holistic forms of knowledge? Our program aims to provide tools and a compass so that you can develop your own answers to these questions.

- Prof. Dr. Dorothea von Hantelmann
