Agata Lisiak contributes to Berliner Gazette’s new text series "After Extractivism"
Professor of Migration Studies Agata Lisiak has contributed to Berliner Gazette's new text series "After Extractivism." In her essay titled “Somewhere Is Always Connected to Elsewhere: Towards a Politics of Relationality” Lisiak draws on the work of geographer Doreen Massey and transnational feminist activism to argue for alternatives beyond the common sense. According to Lisiak, any meaningful alternatives to extractivism and neoliberalism necessitate full recognition of the politics of interdependence and the importance of maintenance and care.
