Dr. Giulia Clabassi is originally from Rome, Italy. She completed her PhD at Humboldt University in Berlin, as part of the Research Training Group "Philosophy, Science and the Sciences," with her doctoral thesis published in 2026. She earned both her BA and MA in Philosophy at the University of Roma Tre. Her doctoral research focuses on the nature of motion as explored in Book VIII of Aristotle's Physics, drawing on interdisciplinary expertise spanning ancient philosophy, the philosophy of science, and contemporary metaphysics. In 2023, she completed a research residency at Princeton University, where she presented her work to an international audience. Giulia is currently working on a series of postdoctoral projects that bridge ancient philosophy and contemporary topics, and is committed to advancing her multicultural academic and teaching experience.PhD in Philosophy
