Prof. Dr. Julia Püschel is an economist who researches and teaches since 2015 at the interdisciplinary John-F.-Kennedy Institute for North American Studies at the Freie Universität Berlin. She has received her education at Freie Universität Berlin, the College of Europe in Bruges and at Princeton University in New Jersey. Julia Püschel’s work analyzes long-term, structural trends in labor markets and her recent projects particularly explore and analyze the ways in which digitalization transforms our labor markets. Her teaching and research projects are characterized by their interdisciplinarity and mirror the joy and necessity of looking at complex social challenges from several perspectives.Dr.rer.pol. in Economics
